Back in September, a family suffered the tragic loss of a husband and father.
In December, another family is touched and inspired by the book The Sparkle Box.
Although seemingly unrelated, the combination of the two very different events brought a community to step in and help the first family by presenting them with the blueprint and the ceremonial key to what will be their new home. A very moving story that restores faith in humanity.
It is an act of kindness that will be forever cherished by the widow and children.
May we all find ways to help those around us. It is not until we stop and think of others that we come to recognize the blessings bestowed upon us.
